Established in 2007, Hironic is a leading medical aesthetic device company with technologies enable users to provide advanced solutions for a broad range of medical-aesthetic applications.

Our company achieved technological innovation through localization and popularization in the global medical aesthetic device market and was selected as a hidden champion by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups this year. Hironic was listed in KOSDAQ in 2014 and has subsidiaries including Hironic Korea, to sell our products in the domestic market, and Attibe Beauty, to sell and distribute home care aesthetic devices.

 

What are the features and benefits of your aesthetic devices?

“Doublo-Gold, Korea’s world-class MFU device and V-RO, the upgrade device”

Our most popular product is the ‘Doublo’ series Micro-focused Ultrasound (MFU) lifting devices, and ‘Doublo-Gold’ was selected as a world-class product of Korea by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy in 2016. Our ‘V-RO’ device, an upgrade version of the Doublo series, recently obtained MFDS approval of KFDA. These products deliver micro-focused ultrasound energy to various depths of the skin layer in a non-invasive procedure to tighten and rejuvenate sagging skin tissue. Our products acquired FDA and CE approval and are sold to dermatology and plastic surgery clinics in Korea and other countries. Hironic has produced over 2,500 products since 2011.

Hironic is leading the domestic and international medical aesthetic device market with products such as PICOHI, an advanced Nd:YAG laser device delivers a stable 300 picosecond (one trillionth of a second) pulse duration and high peak power (1.67 GW), Micool, Korea’s first cryo fat reduction equipment, A-FIT, to treat acne, SLIMUS, a non-invasive lipolysis device for various body parts, and PLASONIC, a complex skin care device using plasma and ultrasound together.

 

 

Share us your future plans for entering foreign markets.

“Focusing on major markets such as Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, and expanding overseas markets”

Our products are exported through our sales network to 66 countries, including Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. The Middle East and Asia are currently our largest markets, and China is also a fast-growing market. Although we faced challenges in the Chinese market as we deal with counterfeits similar to our products, these issues will be resolved because we have many trademarks and patents. We experienced difficulties in sales last year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but our operating profit has increased. In addition to the Middle East and Asian markets, product inquiries are steadily increasing from new southern countries such as Vietnam, so we plan to preemptively expand into more overseas markets as soon as the COVID-19 situation improves.
